Solidarity Concert: 80 Year of Resilience
Marshallese Educational Initiative
80 years ago, U.S. nuclear testing began in the Marshall Islands.
This June 30, Marshallese people are marking the anniversary the way their people know best, with music, with memory, and with resilience.
Join our friends at the Marshallese Educational Initiative for their Solidarity Concert on June 30th, 6-8PM CST via livestream on YouTube.
The event includes the debut of MARK Harmony’s new album which is dedicated to the anniversary. MARK Harmony is a four piece Marshallese band whose mission is to "raise cultural awareness of the Marshallese people and its shared nuclear legacy and climate change through music and songwriting with the Marshallese youth in the community."
Join the Livestream from 6PM CST on Tuesday June 30th.
The Nuclear Truth Project stands with affected communities in the Marshall Islands and across the Pacific in demanding rights, respect, and reciprocity. Walk with us.
