Translations of the Protocols into the languages used by affected communities has been identified as crucial, particularly as we work towards implementation of commitments to ‘victim’ assistance and environmental remediation through the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

For communities impacted by broader nuclear projects, including uranium mining, milling and radioactive waste dumping, understandings around Rights, Respect and Reciprocity are also of great importance.
